Today, CTS Corporation is organized into two reportable segments. First,
the Components and Sensors segment includes light and commercial vehicle
products (sensors, actuators and pedal modules), along with the company抯
electronic component products (frequency control devices, switches,
potentiometers, filters, heat management products and piezoelectric
ceramics). The second segment is Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS),
which includes the company抯 capabilities as a turnkey provider of
manufacturing solutions to customers in a wide range of electronics
equipment markets.
CTS?Automotive Products Division operates multiple manufacturing locations
in North America, Europe and the Far East. CTS Automotive Products supplies
the world抯 vehicle OEMs and Tier II suppliers with rotary and linear
position sensors, rotary actuators and electronic accelerator pedal modules.
The CTS Automotive Products Division also supplies components to the
commercial, heavy vehicle and small engine markets with custom sensing and
actuating components. More recent additions to CTS?automotive manufacturing
capabilities are manufacturing facilities in Eastern Europe and China.
With operations in Taiwan, China, and Singapore, as well as North America,
CTS?Electronic Components Division manufactures an extensive array of
frequency control devices, ceramic RF filters/duplexers, EMI/RFI filters,
capacitors, switches, rotary and linear potentiometers, resistor and
resistor/capacitor networks and heat management components. Major markets
served include medical, defense and aerospace, industrial controls, power
management, communications, computer and electronic networking.
Beginning as a supplier of custom circuit boards, connectors and backplanes,
CTS?Electronic Manufacturing Solutions (EMS) Division has grown to become a
major supplier of electronic equipment box builds, printed circuit board
assemblies, circuit card devices and electronic systems. The EMS group
offers customized services such as; new product introductions (NPI), design
services, test engineering, supply chain management and repair capabilities.
Through its EMS Division, CTS is serving major manufacturers of electronic
devices in the computer, communications, medical, defense and aerospace and
industrial markets from locations in the United States, Singapore, China,
Thailand and Scotland.
