CTS Board of Directors Elects Richard G. Cutter, III, Secretary, CTS Corporation
Elkhart, IN…The Board of Directors of CTS Corporation (NYSE:CTS), has elected Richard G. (Dick) Cutter, III, secretary of CTS Corporation, effective December 31, 2001, according to an announcement today by Donald K. Schwanz, president and chief executive officer of CTS. He replaces Jeannine M. Davis who is retiring. Cutter additionally retains his current position as vice president and general counsel, responsible for all of the Corporation's legal matters.
In 1968, Cutter received his B.S. degree in Business Administration from Ball State University and, in 1971, his J.D. degree from the University of Cincinnati, College of Law. He completed General Electric's Business Management Course in 1997. He is a member of the American, Indiana, Ohio and Florida Bar Associations and serves on the Board of Directors of the Indiana Manufacturers' Association.
Cutter joined CTS in January 2000 as general counsel and was elected vice president
and assistant secretary in August 2000. Prior to accepting the position with
CTS, he was general counsel with General Electric-Silicones in Waterford, NY.
Cutter joined GE Plastics, Pittsfield, MA, in 1992, where he held positions
as senior counsel-labor, government and trade relations;
and associate general counsel and senior counsel, government and trade relations. Prior to General Electric, he held several counsel and general counsel positions of increasing responsibility within the electronics and telecommunications industries.
Mr. and Mrs. Cutter and family reside in Granger, Indiana.
