Research and Development at CTS

The management of each CTS product family is responsible for ensuring that its products meet the current and future needs of their customers. New product development utilizes cross-functional teams where market and customer input drives the functional requirements of all new products. This process results in developing for our customers the right products at the right time and cost.

CTS’ product engineering organizations are responsible for new product development to enhance customer products. These engineering organizations are fully capable in all areas of technology required for product design and development. In some cases, this capability extends to basic research required for the extension of materials technology.

CTS maintains a research, development and engineering staff that is responsible for advanced analytical work in materials, products and processes. These efforts are focused on improving product flow, adding product value and providing new technologies that will be utilized in new products as required by our customers. The research, development and engineering function and the product engineering organizations work together to provide the materials, products and process technology required to maintain CTS as a leading supplier of a broad range of electronic products and services.
