CTS Releases New Series 287 Rotary Potentiometer
Lisle, Ill. – CTS Corporation (NYSE: CTS) announces the release of the new industrial grade Series 287 2-watt rotary potentiometer. The Series 287 carries a ceramic element delivering high power performance over a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +120°C for applications that require an accurate human to machine interface. Offered with flying leads, PC pins or solder lugs, the Series 287 is suitable for a variety of industrial applications.
Series 287 rotary potentiometer offers high durability with 100,000 cycles of rotational life and linearity as low as ± 3% for precise position setting. This product is offered with a variety of shaft and bushing lengths. Other key features include a 600 gf-cm of rotational torque, 7.8 lb. in. of stop strength, and an IP50 (optional IP67) ingression protection rating. A variety of standard shaft and bushing lengths, and a wide variety of standard resistance values are available for design-in flexibility and to enable direct drop-in replacements.
