CHRISTINA M. FROHOCK NAMED DIRECTOR CORPORATE SOURCING FOR CTS CORPORATION
Elkhart, IN…Christina M. Frohock has been named to the newly created position of director corporate sourcing, CTS Corporation (NYSE:CTS), according to an announcement by Jeannine M. Davis, executive vice president administration and secretary of CTS. Frohock began her procurement career with Motorola Inc. corporate headquarters in Schaumburg, IL, and transferred to CTS Wireless Components following CTS' acquisition of Motorola's Component Products Division (CPD) in February of 1999. CTS Wireless Components is an innovator in cellular handset component technology and a world leader in wireless component manufacturing.
In her new position, Frohock will lead and facilitate the programs, process and systems that drive the global procurement activities of CTS Corporation to ensure cost effective purchasing efforts throughout the Company. She will be responsible for building a world-class purchasing function and will coordinate the buying activities of CTS sites around the world with an emphasis on reducing costs, managing inventories and improving both supplier quality and on-time delivery.
Ms. Frohock is a 1992 graduate of Michigan State University where she received her B.A. degree in Materials & Logistics Management. She holds an M.B.A. from Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University in Chicago, IL.
She joined Motorola Inc., in 1992, and steadily progressed in positions of increasing responsibility, ultimately to materials and logistics manager in 1998. Since March 1999, Frohock has served CTS Wireless as global supply chain manager and has worked to create and execute supply chain strategies for the Wireless Components Design Center, as well as CTS Wireless Components' manufacturing sites in China, Taiwan, Singapore and the United States.
