Amphenol Interconnect Products Corporation To Provide
Cable Assemblies to CTS' Cooperative Partnership Alliance

Elkhart, IN…CTS Corporation (NYSE:CTS) today announced that Amphenol Interconnect Products Corporation (AIPC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Amphenol Corporation (NYSE:APH), has become the latest manufacturer to join CTS' cooperative partnership Alliance program, which provides tier-one interconnect solutions for OEM customers. AIPC manufactures connectors and cable and interconnect systems for electronics, cable television, telecommunications, aerospace, transportation and industrial applications. AIPC's products are engineered and produced in the Americas, Europe and the Far East and sold by a worldwide sales organization. CTS Interconnect Systems, headquartered in Glasgow, Scotland, designs and manufactures complex press-fit and surface mount backplanes, daughtercard assemblies and integrated interconnect systems.

The addition of AIPC completes the group of Alliance founder members, who began the program in May 2001, with the announcement that Pentair Enclosures (Pentair, Inc.) joined CTS Interconnect Systems to provide system integration to customers. Since then, WUS Printed Circuits Co., Ltd., PPC Electronic AG and Eagle Global Logistics have also joined the partnership. The result is a global, synergistic group of companies capable of supplying fully integrated electronic systems to OEMs, around a core framework of flexibility, operational and management control, low-cost supply, clear communication and state-of-the-art technology.
