CTS EMS Earns ISO13485:2003 Certification for Its Thailand Operation
Elkhart, IN…CTS Corporation (NYSE:CTS), a leading provider of electronics
manufacturing services, announced today that the Thailand facility of its
Electronics Manufacturing Solutions (EMS) strategic business unit has
successfully achieved ISO13485:2003 certification.
ISO13485:2003 is the international quality management standard for designers and
manufacturers of medical devices. CTS has actively pursued this certification as
part of an ongoing commitment to service the needs of medical customers.
Thailand is the fourth CTS facility to receive the accreditation, the others
being Moorpark and Santa Clara, CA and Marlborough, MA. All four sites are also
fully FDA registered.
Commenting on the certification, Don Schroeder, President of the EMS strategic
business unit, said, “CTS is committed to supplying specialist products and
services to the medical market, from implantable devices to fully-integrated
box-build systems. Attaining ISO13485:2003 in Thailand further enables us to
support customers at a global level.”
