CTS Corporation Names Allen P. Butler Director

and Chief Information Officer (CIO)

Elkhart, IN…CTS Corporation (NYSE:CTS) today announced the appointment of Allen P. Butler to the position of Director and Chief Information Officer (CIO), reporting to Vinod Khilnani, Senior Vice President and CFO.  He will be responsible for directing and coordinating all information systems of the corporation on a worldwide basis.

Allen comes to CTS with 21 years of enterprise architecture and system development expertise in diverse print/publishing, manufacturing, healthcare and financial services industries with such firms as RR Donnelley and Glaxosmithkline in the Chicago area.  Allen holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin.

Most recently, and prior to accepting the position with CTS, he was acting as CIO for Ecor Systems, LLC, a small startup company in Chicago.  Prior to joining Ecor Systems, he worked for 20 years in various IT management roles with RR Donnelley, Glaxosmithkline, Abbott Laboratories, Boehringer Mannheim Pharmaceuticals and Warzyn Engineering. 

Dr. Butler will assume his responsibilities with CTS Corporation on July 25, 2005, and he will be located in the CTS Corporation office in Bloomingdale, Illinois.  Reporting to him will be Todd Smith, Director of Information Technology, who is located in the corporate office of CTS in Elkhart, Indiana.  I am sure Allen can count on your full support as he assumes his new role with CTS.
