CTS Welcomes Purdue University President, Dr. Martin Jischke
 

Elkhart, IN…CTS Corporation (NYSE: CTS), yesterday welcomed Purdue University President Martin Jischke to its Corporate Headquarters and Automotive Products Division.  

Approximately one day a month, President Jischke visits communities across the state to learn about the challenges and successes in Indiana schools, businesses, social service agencies and local government.

President Jischke met with representatives from CTS to discuss how Purdue is making a difference at CTS, and how the University might further contribute to both its students and the needs of CTS. Jeff McCurley, Vice President and General Manger of CTS Automotive Products commented, “Purdue has, and continues to play a major role in our success here at CTS. Apart from utilizing the Purdue graduates already employed by CTS, we continue to enjoy our long history of incorporating Purdue co-op students into our engineering and manufacturing efforts.” 

Dr. Jischke became Purdue University’s 10^th President in August of 2000. He also holds a Ph.D. in aeronautical engineering from M.I.T.
