CTS Commences Manufacturing Operations in Czech Republic


Elkhart, IN…CTS Corporation (NYSE: CTS) a global leader in automotive position sensors, actuators and subsystems, commenced manufacturing operations last week in its new facility located in Ostrava, Czech Republic.

In October of 2005, CTS announced plans to move into the region by mid-2006. Jeff McCurley, Vice President and General Manager of CTS Automotive Products commented, “Thanks to our partners at CzechInvest, CTP, The Source Network, the local Czech government and our own dedicated employees, CTS was able to launch production ahead of schedule. The Ostrava facility has significantly increased CTS’ ability to serve our European customers.”
