Introduces New Current Sensing Resistors For Current Detection
Elkhart, IN…CTS Corporation (NYSE: CTS), a global leader in the design and
manufacture of electronic components, today announced the introduction of its
new line of Current Sensing Resistors.
CTS Electronic Components now offers a line of metal plate and thick film resistors that were developed to monitor current in a circuit and then translate that current into a voltage that can be easily measured and monitored. This is particularly important for control circuitry in power supplies, miniature DC-to-DC converters, uninterruptible power systems, battery charging circuits, automotive and motor control applications.
CTS’ Current Sensing Resistors
These products are designed with very low resistance values (.050Ω to .910Ω) to minimize power consumption while sensing current. The metal plate design supports 1 to 2 watts of power while the thick film handles up to 1 watt. Each style offers a resistance tolerance range from 1 to 5 percent.
For more information on CTS’
Current Sensing Resistors, please contact Scott LeFavour, Product Marketing
Manager, at 260-589-7165.
