CTS Corporation’s New Hampshire Facility Achieves ISO13485 Certification
for Medical Manufacturing
Medical Capability Now Available at All Major EMS Sites
 

Elkhart, IN…CTS Corporation (NYSE: CTS), a leading provider of electronics manufacturing services (EMS), announced today that its Londonderry, New Hampshire EMS facility has achieved ISO13485:2003 certification, bringing the total number of facilities accredited to seven and extending the medical capabilities of CTS to all major sites worldwide.

ISO13485:2003 is the international quality management standard for designers and manufacturers of medical devices. CTS actively pursued this certification as part of an ongoing global quality roadmap to meet the needs of customer in the high reliability, high technology medical sector.

Don Schroeder, president of CTS EMS, commented, “We have now achieved four ISO13485 certifications in less than twelve months.  This remarkable achievement demonstrates our commitment to customers in a high reliability, highly complex industry. Certification in New Hampshire means that we now offer comprehensive medical manufacturing support at all of our sites in the United States as well as in the UK, China, Singapore and Thailand.”

CTS’ range of products and services provided to the medical sector includes highly complex, high-reliability SMT assemblies and backplanes, fully integrated box build systems, global NPI to support clinical trials, equipment design, micro-electronic assembly and clean room environments.
