CTS AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS NAMES DENNIS THORNTON
VICE PRESIDENT, GENERAL MANAGER
 

Elkhart, IN… CTS Corporation (NYSE: CTS) names Dennis Thornton to Vice President, General Manager of CTS Automotive Products.  In this new role, Dennis will be reporting directly to Vinod M. Khilnani, CTS President and Chief Executive Officer.

Dennis joined CTS in November of 2006 to develop the SBU’s global manufacturing strategy and enhancement initiatives, focusing on lean manufacturing and continuous improvements.  In his new role of Vice President, General Manager, Dennis will have total P&L responsibility for the SBU and implementing ways to drive best practices in all functional areas.

Dennis came to CTS from Siegel-Robert, Inc. where he served in capacities of increasing responsibility, including President of their Plastics Division, Vice President of Operations, Engineering and Sales.  Dennis started his career in 1984 with General Motors engineering and has also worked for other large OEM manufacturers through the years, domestic and overseas, including Tyco, Valeo and ITT in areas of engineering management and sales.

Dennis holds a B.S in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
