Low-Pass Filters

communication towers against a blue sky

Main Content

Low-pass filters (LPFs) are designed to pass signals below a certain frequency cut-off point, while rejecting signals above that. CTS low-pass filter solutions are available in microstrip technology of the Rooftop series (RLF) or the multilayer organic technology of the XLF series.  Both families offer small size, low insertion loss, significant close-in rejection/attenuation, and universal footprint.

CTS MCB Product Overview.pdf

CTS MCB series of ceramic waveguide bandpass filters were developed for applications covering 12-40 GHz. Its input and output terminals can connect directly to microstrip transmission lines on the top layer of printed circuit boards, making it a genuine surface mount filter. These ceramic waveguide filters are manufactured using proprietary ceramic formulas and a well-established process, delivering high performance with competitive pricing compared to other technologies typically needed for Ku-Ka band applications. Besides offering standard MCB products, CTS can also customize solutions for different passbands or component types, including duplexers and diplexers.
