Lisle, IL – CTS Corporation (NYSE: CTS) has added a new LED illuminated tact switch product series to the tact switch product family. The 228F/H product contains a single LED color display with a bi-color option independent of the switching function. The 228G is offered in a single LED color display with color options. The LED colors are selected through the PCB circuit, which provides flexibility to the end-use product developer.
The robust contact structure provides excellent tactile feedback to the user, with a switch life up to 100,000 cycles. The LED color options combined with other product features make this tact switch series suitable for applications including medical, automotive, home health care, audio/video, fitness equipment, white goods, security systems, and servers.
The product series models are available in the following compact sizes: 228F series size is 7.4mm x 7.0mm., 228H series size is 5.2mm x 8.0mm, and 228G series size is 5.0mm x 6.0mm. Made with halogen-free materials, the actuator travel for each of the new products is 0.5mm.
This new CTS model series adds to an extensive line of tact switch products, supporting a wide range of color displays from a single circuit to triple circuits.
