CTS to Attend ISTU 2024 and IEEE UFFC-JS 2024 in Taiwan

Lisle, IL – CTS Corporation will send a delegation of sales representatives and research engineers to attend and present at the 23rd International Symposium on Therapeutic Ultrasound (ISTU) and the IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics and Frequency Control Joint Symposium (UFFC-JS), respectively. Both events take place in Taipei City, Taiwan, with the former running from 19-23 September, the latter from 23-26 September.

Since 2001, the International Society for Therapeutic Ultrasound has worked to increase the knowledge of therapeutic ultrasound to the scientific and medical community and to establish its use throughout healthcare systems and treatment plans around the globe. The 23rd ISTU symposium brings together scientists, physicians, engineers and manufacturers of ultrasonic devices from all corners of the world to pool their knowledge and discuss new, innovative practices involving therapeutic ultrasound. As a leading designer and developer of high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) technology, CTS will be in attendance, showcasing high-quality product solutions that can enable ultrasonic treatment of dermatological, cosmetic and even oncological conditions.

 

ISTU 2024 is hosted at the Taipei International Convention Center and takes place on 19-23 September, 2024.

 

IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics and Frequency Control Joint Symposium (UFFC-JS)

This year, the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) can celebrate its 70th anniversary, and CTS joins the festivities by attending the UFFC joint symposium. In addition to displaying our piezoelectric and frequency control products, our research engineers will give two presentations on their recent findings:

Monday 23rd September, 02:30 PM, UTC+8, Location P04 (R-4F):

"Alternating Current Polarization to Enhance 60MHz PMN-PT 1-3 Composite for Medical Ultrasound Applications" - Presented by Wei-Yi Chang, CTS single crystal R&D engineer.

Tuesday 24th September, 10:30 AM, UTC+8, Location 500:

"Lead-Free Piezoelectric Transducers for Resonant Applications" - Presented by Erling Ringgaard, CTS principal materials scientist.

 

The IEEE UFFC-JS take place on 23-26 September, 2024, in the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. Find the CTS delegation by booth 11.
