This magnetic field concentrator is designed for non-intrusive and isolated measurements of electric currents. Thanks to the Clamp-On design, the contactless current sensor can be safely installed without interrupting the cable.

04[mm] Magnetic Field Concentrator

A magnetic field concentrator is a device that focuses the magnetic flux generated by an electrical current flowing through a system, such as a current-conducting wire.

The CTS-CS-CXX-04 is a soft ferromagnetic shield with high linearity and low hysteresis, ideal for DC and AC current sensing, motor control, battery monitoring, and more. It can be paired with planar magnetic field sensors to measure currents up to ±150 A. Its hollow bottom design allows for a compact solution, and it can be easily soldered to a PCB for a secure connection.
