Automotive Position Sensors
CTS is a leading designer and manufacturer of speed and positional sensors offering custom, state of the art solutions for the light and commercial vehicles industries. We offer comprehensive expertise in design, engineering, manufacturing and testing, supported by a global network of engineering, sales and manufacturing locations.
Our sensor products are critical components, specifically targeting safety, fuel economy, and emission applications. Available in non-contacting Hall-effect and contacting thick-film technologies, CTS is known for its design, quality, flexibility, and responsiveness.
Current Sensors
CTS designs alternating current (AC) draw sensors and clamp-on magnetic field concentrators for electric vehicles (EV), hybrid electric vehicles (HEV), battery electric vehicles (BEV), and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) motors using Hall-effect technology.
Pedal & Foot Controls
Our portfolio consists of contacting, non-contacting Hall-effect, and custom-designed solutions to exceed industry requirements for accuracy and durability. Optional features such as kick-down, sport pads, unibody construction, and plastic or metal pedal arms allow for the customization our customers demand.
CTS offers a custom modular pedal, the eBrake™, and the DrivePad™, that work with a brake-by-wire system or other custom systems. Safety being at the forefront of our design process for automotive parts, these systems utilize multiple sensor technologies to protect end users.
