Our Innovative Monitoring Systems
Battery Monitoring System (BMS)
A Battery monitoring system with an independent power supply and 4K galvanically insulated design with CAN interface.
Battery Monitoring/Management Systems (BMS) are electronic systems that monitor the physical variables of a battery. The CTS Battery Monitoring System is engineered to support controlling battery parameters such as State-of-Charge(SoC) or State-of-Health(SoH) to support operating safety. This module has a range of support such as optimizing cell charge, improving battery life, and promoting high battery capacity which collectively enhances performance.
Hall-Shunt Module
A galvanically isolated current sensor module with both Hall and shunt sensors to ensure redundant and reliable current sensing.
Our Hall-Shunt module (HSM-800) is a repetitive current sensor module with precise Cu-Mn shunt-based current measurement and a fully redundant, galvanically isolated Hall sensor module. This module provides highly accurate, redundant, and reliable current measurements. Hence, it targets safety-relevant applications with non-heterogenous redundancy supporting ASIL C and D standards. Applications include monitoring systems BMS, junction box, batter disconnect unit BDU, present in PHEV, HEV and EV. Additionally, the module is complemented with an ambient temperature sensor allowing the system to determine the state-of-charge (SOC), state-of-health (SOH), and state-of-function (SOF) of modern battery-powered equipment.

What is a battery monitoring system?
Battery Monitoring/Management Systems (BMS) are any electronic system that monitors the physical variables of a battery, such as current, voltage, and temperature, and prevents the battery from operating outside its safe operating area. Monitored variables are used to check the battery state, to calculate secondary data (eg. state of charge), report that data, control its environment, or for authentication
What is a Hall-Shunt Module?
A Hall-shunt module is a device that combines a Hall current sensor and a shunt current sensor for redundant current sensing. These modules are typically developed to ensure a specific current is being maintained making them great options for automotive and industrial machinery.
